Gamification, a new era of digitized motivation
Gamification, a motivational tool that companies are increasingly using.
Definition: “Gamification” is the transfer of game mechanisms in other areas, especially websites, learning situations, work situations or social networks. Its purpose is to increase the acceptability and the use of these applications by relying on the human predisposition to the game. This technique makes it possible to obtain people behaviors that could be regarded as irrelevant. We usually do not want to do it: filling out a questionnaire, buying a product, watching advertisements or assimilating information.
Employee engagement at work is a key factor in the success of a business. From the point of view of researching the performance and upgrading skills of your sales teams or customer loyalty, gamification then appears as an effective solution to the involvement and motivation of communities.

The game characteristics : spirit of competition but also the recognition and the pleasure applied to the work will therefore lead to an increase of the motivation and implication of communities.
By example, it will be motivating for your teams to respond to a Quiz ( according them points to its realization) if they know they will win in exchange!
When your teams are dispatched on different regions, it is also important to create or strengthen a social link to federate them around the values of the company, so they feel part of a group, a common project.
Roadoo Network has developed an automated animation around the commercial challenge:
1. By mini-objectives to challenge: create trophies, linked to the activity on the Roadoo Network platform.
Trophies are rewards to participants if they have achieved the objective. There are 2 types of trophies: Social trophies, linked to activity on the platform and Commercial trophies.
The objective is to reward participants involvement, symbolically and numerically. It is indeed possible to award points on the trophies that you consider important. Because humor is always a good omen! Receiving a badge with a touch of humor and award points is always rewarding for the job and motivating for team participation.
2. By bonus challenge
The bonuses allow to add mini-objectives within the global challenge. This allows the participants to have an objective to achieve, to encourage them to be active and to pace the challenge.
